Creative Names

This was a little challenging for my 5th graders.  They had to write their name in cursive and cut it out and make it into and object. I just love the way they all came out.

Even Monster Need Haircuts!

At Halloween I read the book "Even Monsters Need Haircuts" by  Matthew McElligott. I had the students create their own monster who need a haircut. The hair was created with construction paper to give it a lift off the paper.
