Baby Girl Pink

"Baby Girl Pink"
I used for the background DRY WAX PAPER with Permanent makers - the background image is from a piece of fabric swatch I found.  The Baby Shoe is drawn in CRAYON - both of my girls wore this slipper when they were babies.

The adding of the Butterfly is images that were in both of  my girls room when they were small. The Butterfly is on Watecolor Paper and I used Watercolor Pencils.

The Letter A is the last letter in both of their names. I felt that it completed the picture, because today only one likes pink and the other think it is an ugly color and wants nothing to do with it.

Perspective

Practice leading up to Van Gogh's bedroom.

Van Gogn's Bedroom - 5th grade

My Fifth Graders had a hard time with this one. One Point Perspective - I had worksheets for them to understand the concept...I think they did a good job in the end of understanding. I'm very proud of them!

Falling from Space - 5th grade

The 5th graders did a GREAT job with this one.  The project turned out to be one of my favorites and they learned so much about perspective.  After they were done I hung them from the ceiling of my classroom and they did look like they were falling from space.

Celebrations

3rd Grade made celebration pictures.  Its great to see their favorite holiday.  It was also based on Artist Pieter Bruegel (1525 - 1569) known for The Wedding Dance.

Aleins Love Underpants

2nd thru 5th loved the book Aliens Love Underpants by  Claire Freedman.  I had them draw their own alien wearing underpants.

Good Luck Elephants

3rd grade learned about elephants!  I showed them how to draw the elephant step by step. Then they were to put the elephant some where and color in the blanket they designed.
